Class Description: Anatomy, Dissection, and Survival Skills with a Doctor

Join us for an extraordinary hands-on scientific experience that combines biology, anatomy, and survival skills! Under the guidance of a skilled doctor, students will have the unique opportunity to:

  • Explore General Anatomy: Learn about the anatomy of a squirrel as the doctor provides an overview of key systems and structures.

  • Dissect and Clean: Participate in a guided dissection to gain hands-on experience in understanding internal anatomy and preparing the animal.

  • Practice Suturing Techniques: Learn basic suturing skills using fishing line, an invaluable survival skill for emergencies.

This course is perfect for those interested in science, wildlife, or practical survival techniques. It’s an engaging and educational way to develop a deeper understanding of anatomy while acquiring hands-on skills.

Safety note: All tools and materials will be provided, and strict safety protocols will be followed throughout the class.

Grade Levels: Suitable for students in grades 5-8.
